Another Doctor

My doctor phoned me this morning to confirm what I wrote about a few posts down… that I would possibly be delivering this baby at a different hospital than my own.
No biggie. The obstetrician that will be taking care of me is apparently wonderful, and I’ve heard nothing but good things about him from [...]

My Name Is

One of my friends lives in Pennsylvania, and I was fortunate to be able to visit her in the past by way of an airplane before the need of a passport came into effect.
I remember filling out the paperwork in highschool for one, and never sent it away. Oops! And now that I have a [...]

Last Day of June!

Jordan and I went for a walk on Friday to meet her dad for lunch. On the way there, I started to have severe pains in my stomach, like… we’re talking, SEVERE. I could barely take a step, my hearing went muffled and my sight went wonky. I had to sit on a rock to [...]

Ooh Baby it’s Raining

It’s been raining off and on since late Friday night. Yesterday was our Sunday School’s annual picnic, and it had to be held indoors for the most part due to the weather. But, Jordan still had a blast and it was nice seeing a lot of people that I haven’t in a while.
Afterwards Ross and [...]

Boring ‘Ol Tuesday

Absolutely nothing to do today except tidy up here and there. Our bedroom is where I need to concentrate, but every time I come in here I look at the ‘mess’ and don’t want to clean it.
Ross put the baby’s change table together on Sunday, and so far it has been a holding area for [...]

Baby & Jordan Update!

I had a checkup today, everything went well. I actually have lost 3lbs. since my last appointment two weeks ago. My blood pressure is perfect, baby sounds great (140bpm), and it is resting high in my uterus.
Also, I registered Jordan for Junior Kindergarten today! *sniffles*
We went to the school this afternoon, met the principal and [...]

Above All

Ross and I sure have had our share of troubles… but that has never made him one ounce less of an amazing father to our daughter. From Jordan and I, HAPPY FATHER’S DAY!

TGIF!

Well, it’s Friday, and I couldn’t be happier. Another week done, and closer to everything I’m looking forward to!
The optometrist called this morning and said our glasses are ready. We were expecting them next week, so I was happy to hear that we could pick them up today. Ross went and got them during his [...]

My Eyes!

Ross and I went to the optometrist this morning. We were both in dire need of a check up… and without a surprise we both were fitted for frames. Ross’ eyes are far worse than mine are; if he doesn’t get them checked routinely he could develop glaucoma. The doctor made sure he was aware [...]
