My name is Ashley. I’m 25 years old, and I reside in a small town in Ontario, Canada. I am the common-law spouse to a man named Ross, and the mommy to a pretty blond princess named Jordan. We are expecting our second child in August of this year, and we couldn’t be happier. I found out I was pregnant two days after Christmas, and three days after Jordan turned three years old. She will be attending Junior Kindergarten this coming September.
Family and faith is the most important thing in my life. I was fortunate to be raised in a Christian household, where I was taught about Christ, and when I was nine years old I accepted Him as my Saviour. I try and live each day with my head on straight, keep an open mind, and wear a smile on my face. As my teenage years passed, I came to realize that life is too short to harbour anger and hold grudges. I want to look back someday and be happy at what I’ve accomplished and who I was as a person.
I’m currently not a member of the work force, instead I’ve given myself the title of Domestic Engineer. Since September 2007 I have been a stay at home mom, and even though I get the odd case of “cabin fever”, I’d much rather spend my days chasing pretend butterflies and singing “You Are My Sunshine” with my imaginative youngster.
Ontario has been my home since birth. I probably wouldn’t be comfortable anywhere else. We have cold winters here, and although I am used to them by now, I’m still a fan of the spring/fall seasons. I love gardening and taking walks in the woods, pulling weeds out of my garden, and listening to the leaves crunch beneath my feet. I know I’ll never be any kind of professional photographer, but capturing life’s precious moments is one of my true passions (and someday I’ll get my DSLR!).
I love to drive, doesn’t matter where, I have to be behind the wheel. If I win millions, you wouldn’t see me pushing the clutch of a “tuner”, it’s American Muscle or bust. There will also be an Escalade in my garage when I stand in front of that camera holding my giant cheque. Another thing that makes me smile is music; I probably couldn’t go one day without listening to it. If it’s simply the radio, or my collection of mp3’s, I’m a very happy girl. Nothing beats “Bohemian Rhapsody”, either.
